Emmanuel is a writer and film director focused on innovative and impactful storytelling via audiovisual media.
His short film, “Acidwash,” premiered at TIFF in 2022 as part of an effort to destigmatize mental health (via Stella’s Place), was featured on national news (Global News, CBC News), and recently distributed by TIFF's 2023 Digital Program: Short Film, Big Ideas. One of his proudest accomplishments was spearheading the Toronto New Wave Festival in 2018 as the Executive Director and introducing a VR (virtual reality) and immersive segment as part of its main film program.
Going forward, he will continue to create and master the short form, honing his ability to tell captivating stories through commercial, documentary, and film work.
